Casa al mare (home by the water) is situated in a sought after location in the Mornington Peninsula with beach views from the south and west sides.

The site is rectangular and sloping from north to south. The client's vision was to create a unique home that responds to their lifestyle. This architecturally designed house has timeless and raw finishes. It has a mediterranean influenced architecture with a modern, timeless and contemporary spin on it. Some of the materials utilised include stone, render, glass and feature aluminium louvers.

Views to the beach was a big part of their focus of the design. The outside areas were designed to enjoy a beach lifestyle and also capsure views from every point in the home. A unique home it certainly is. As you wander through this home you realise the amount of work and detail that went into this build by all the trades involved.

Our client’s had a great vision for the design of their home; they knew what they wanted and were able to express it. After living in Italy for many years they wanted to create a design that included liveability, functionality, convenience, comfort and style. Our clients wanted their children and grandchildren to enjoy the house as much as they would.

The home includes three storeys with eight different levels within. Some of the features included in this home are five bedrooms, three bathrooms, two powder rooms, open plan kitchen, living and dining area, cinema room, cellar with wine tasting area and climate controlled cellar, infinity pool and outdoor kitchen and more.

The materials used in this construction were of the highest quality. They included natural stone, travertine tiles tumbled and unfilled french pattern, european oak imported italian flooring, marble tiles, Infinity edge pool, C-BUS full home automation, European appliances, Louvertech Louver roof, 2 pack cabinetry with stone bench tops.

This home is very individualised and has a real luxury feel with practicality.
